Chef Ayla Walter
Ayla is a classically trained chef. She started off her career learning about lowcountry cuisine in restaurants & cafes in Charleston, SC.
She received her bachelors in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She then went on to cook for the elite socialites & celebrities in Boston, MA. She opened, cooked & managed various café & restaurant kitchens.
Looking for something new, she took her talents to the Vineyard to work farm to table dining on Martha’s Vineyard.
The next step ultimately brought her to NYC to cater to the fashion world & the who’s who of the NYC scene including The Met Gala, celebrity parties & city institutions. As a side hustle, Ayla began teaching cooking classes where it ultimately became a true passion as she opened cooking schools & taught people of all walks of life how to cook.
Ayla currently works freelance doing private dinners, recipe development, wellness retreats, cooking classes & working on her future food space, Kid Sister.
